Vincent Voorn

Trainer & owner of GDS Training

Although Vincent has been riding since childhood, his earliest passion in life was actually football! It wasn’t until he started competing that he truly ignited his devotion to the equestrian sport.

Some of his earliest victories include his individual Gold medal in the European Championship of Young Riders in 2005.

It was at this time that Vincent realized that he wanted to dedicate his life to a professional career in the equestrian sport.

He began riding for Team Audi at De Margaretha Hoeve and was then selected to ride for the Dutch Senior team at the 2007 European Championships in Mannheim, where they won the gold medal.

After all of this consistent success, Vincent got selected to competed in Beijing in the 2008 Olympics on Team Netherlands. He remains the youngest Dutch rider to have been a member of the Dutch Olympic show-jumping team.

His Olympic-level training experience makes him the perfect person to help strengthen the talents of the young riders and horses he trains. In fact, Olympic-level talent and passion for the equestrian sport run through his bloodline, as he is the son of Olympic silver medalist Albert Voorn.

Jonna Sundblad Voorn

Administrator, photographer & owner of GDS Training

Jonna Sundblad Voorn grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden, where her profound love for horses blossomed at an early age. Throughout her school years, ponies, followed by junior and young rider horses, filled her weeks, and she eagerly participated in both national and international competitions whenever possible. After completing high school, she pursued studies in business and event management at the university level, skills that prove invaluable in her daily responsibilities at GDS Training.

After meeting Vincent, Jonna made the courageous decision to relocate to Holland following a year of maintaining a long-distance relationship. There, she joined Vincent at the Audi Stable, where she acquired extensive experience in managing a large-scale operation and improved her skills in training and showing young horses. As Jonna and Vincent ventured into establishing their own business, Jonna shifted her focus from riding to management. Furthermore, she nurtures a passion for photography, diligently capturing moments at the shows attended by their students, creating both pictures and videos to preserve memories and highlight their progress.
